Bloomington Survival – Day 1

Matt and his dad are headed to the Bloomington Gold car show in Indianapolis this week. I am, for all intents and purposes, a single dog mom this week. This is the longest that Matt and I have been apart in almost 11 years of marriage. I decided to journal my experiences on the off chance that they are somewhat amusing. Besides, it might be helpful for authorities to have clues as to the need for my committal to a mental hospital. Continue reading

Sleeping Arrangements

Last night, Matt and I did something we haven’t done for over a year. Get your mind out of the gutter; it’s not what you are thinking. You see, when Tank passed away last year, he was the only one … Continue reading

And Then There Were Three…

Love at First Sight I believe in love at first sight.  It only took until the end of the first date with my husband, Matt. With Tank and Missy, it was instant. And now it’s happened again with our latest … Continue reading

What’s In A Name?

Shakespeare queried, “What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other would smell as sweet.”  I find this to be very true.  Our dogs have multiple names; their AKC registered name and the common name we … Continue reading
